KommAustria Act - KOG

Here you can download an unofficial english translation of the Federal Act on the establishment of an Austrian Communications Authority ("KommAustria") and a Federal Communications Board (KommAustria Act - KOG), Federal Law Gazette I No. 32/2001.

Please note, that section 10 of the Act (concerning financing and administration of financial resources) was subsequenty amended by Federal Law Gazette I No. 70/2003 (effective as from 20 August 2003) and Federal Law Gazette I No. 136/2003 (effective as from 1 January 2004). Furthermore, sections 9a to 9h of the Act (concerning the Austrian Digitization Fund and the Austrian Television Endowment) were amended by Federal Law Gazette I No. 71/2003 (effective as from 1 January 2004). Section 10 was amended by Federal Law Gazette I No. 136/2003 (effective as from 1 January 2004). Sections 2 Abs. 1, 4 Abs. 1 und 8, 5 Abs. 3, 8 Abs. 7, 9b, 9c Abs. 2, 11 Abs. 2, 11a, and 14 Abs. 2 were amended by Federal Law Gazette I No. 97/2004 (effective as from 1 August 2004). Sections 2, 3, 5, 5a, 8, 9, 9a, 10, 10a, 11a, 15, 16a, 17a and 18 were amended by Federal Law Gazette I No. 21/2005 (effective as from 1 January 2005). Sections 3, 5a Abs. 1, 7 Abs. 1, 10a, 11 Abs. 1 und 4 sowie § 14 Abs. 1 were amended by Federal Law Gazette I No. 9/2006 (effective as from 1 July 2006).
