Organization

RTR and its approximately 100 employees are headed by two managing directors, one for each division. The Media Division is headed by Alfred Grinschgl, while the Telecommunications and Postal Service Division is managed by Georg Serentschy.

The Media Division covers and supports the following areas of activity at RTR:

• Broadcasting Regulation
• Digitization Fund
• Austrian Television Fund
• Non-Commercial Broadcasting Fund
• Private Broadcasting Fund
• Supervisory Authority for Collecting Societies

The Telecommunications and Postal Service Division is responsible for the following areas:

• Telecommunications Regulation
• Electronic Signatures
• Postal Regulation
