European Regulators Group (ERG)

The European Regulators Group (ERG) was created by the Decision of the European Commission of July 29, 2002. RTR-GmbH, as independent national regulatory authority, is a member of this group.

The main mission of this advisory body, which complements the set of directives of the new European regulatory framework pursuant to recitals 36 and 37 Framework Directive, is to strengthen cooperation between the regulatory authorities and, in particular, to organise the consultation process, according to Article 7 Framework Directive, provided for specific draft decisions of the national regulatory authorities.
