Mobile termination markets: M 1/08-284-287 of June 15, 2009
On June 15, 2009, the Telekom-Control-Kommission (TKK) issued four decisions (M 1/08-284-287) regarding the analysis of individual termination markets of mobilkom austria AG (mobilkom, M 1/08-284, now A1 Telekom Austria AG), T-Mobile Austria GmbH (T-Mobile, M 1/08-285), Orange Austria Telecommunication GmbH (Orange, M 1/08-286) and Hutchison 3G Austria GmbH (Hutchison, M 1/08-287). These official decisions identified significant market power of the a.m. mobile operators and imposed, among other, a specific obligation to publish, within four weeks from the decision, a reference offer covering the termination service into each operator's mobile network and to keep this reference offer up to date on a regular basis. This reference offer must include the following minimum content to be described in greater detail:
- Methods and costs of the realisation of joining links,
- Informations on location of switching stations,
- Traffic types and rates/charges.
The a.m. mobile network operators fulfilled their obligation to publish a reference offer within the specified period. The reference offers currently applied are published under the URLs listed below:
