The Austrian Television Fund (FERNSEHFONDS AUSTRIA) supports the TV series “Es kommt noch dicker” with EUR 1 million

The Austrian Television Fund (FERNSEHFONDS AUSTRIA) supported the seven-episodes television series “Es kommt noch dicker” with around EUR 1 million, this corresponds to 20% of overall production costs. The broadcast on ORF eins started on Monday, 3 September.

The series tells the story of Jessica, a successful and attractive hotel manager, and Rike, a corpulent bookkeeper. When Rike applies for a job in a classy wellness hotel in Vienna with Jessica, Jessica insults her badly because of her physical appearance. Hurt by Jessica’s insult, Rike wishes that all her fat would move to Jessica’s skinny buttocks. Rike’s wish comes true. A single stroke of lightning causes the two women to switch body girths. The next morning, Rike wakes up in a slim body while Jessica finds herself in a corpulent one. Both women’s lives are suddenly turned upside down.

This series was produced by EPO – Filmproduktionsgesellschaft m.b.H. and Producers at Work for the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation ORF and Sat.1.

The first broadcast started on 3 September 2012 on ORF eins. The episodes will be shown on Mondays at 8.15 pm. Sat.1 started the broadcast on 10 September 2012.
