How do I know if my result is good or bad?

The red/orange/green scale (traffic-light-system) visualizes the measured up- or downlink-speed (data rate) and thus gives a rough estimate of the measured data rates. However, the data rate required by the user is subjective and always depends on the type of application (see bandwidth requirements). An Internet access is considered fast in the RTR-NetTest if it is in the green range (see traffic light thresholds).
