Specialized ITV content editorial staff for TV enhancements
In order to meet the complex production requirements of ITV applications and content as effectively as possible, a separate ITV editorial staff was trained and deployed in the ORF !TV4GRAZ team to provide all of the shows ORF contributed to the !TV4GRAZ test channel (p. 16 ff) with useful additional content. It is also worth mentioning that not only text but also photos and graphics were included in this additional information. ORF‘s ITV editorial staff thus created an additional multimedia television product which allows viewers to personalize their television experience.
TV-JETZT reinforces ORF‘s information competence
TV-JETZT was especially well suited for documentaries, journals as well as current information and news broadcasts. Interesting information which could not be included in the show (e.g., due to time constraints) was included in the additional content offered and could be retrieved by interested viewers throughout the show. This included background information as well as individual graphics, timelines, tables, illustrated biographies and related book recommendations to complement the content presented in each show.
