Coverage obligations 2300/2600 MHz

The award procedure F 2/24 establishes the following coverage obligations for the frequency bands:

2300 MHz TDD

  • T-Mobile Austria GmbH: 1000 base stations by 31.12.2036 (earlier: 250 stations by 31.12.2029 and 600 stations by 31.12.2032)

2600 MHz TDD

  • Hutchison Drei Austria GmbH: 1000 base stations by 31.12.2036 (earlier: 250 stations by 31.12.2029 and 600 stations by 31.12.2032)

2600 MHz FDD

  • A1 Telekom Austria AG: 2000 base stations by 31.12.2036 (earlier: 1400 stations by 31.12.2029 and 1600 stations by 31.12.2032)
  •  Hutchison Drei Austria GmbH:   2000 base stations by 31.12.2036 (earlier: 1400 stations by 31.12.2029 and 1600 stations by 31.12.2032)
  • T-Mobile Austria GmbH: 2000 base stations by 31.12.2036 (earlier: 1400 stations by 31.12.2029 and 1600 stations by 31.12.2032)

    • Until 31 Dec 2026 coverage obligations from the earlier procedure F 4/08 remains applicable.
