The Austrian Regulatory Authority for Broadcasting and Telecommunications (RTR) stands for competition and media diversity. RTR is a state institution with a statutory mandate in relation to regulating, developing and promoting Austria’s markets for media, telecommunications and postal services.
The Austrian Communications Authority (KommAustria) regulates and supervises Austria's markets for radio, television and comparable online services in Austria as well as ORF and its subsidiaries.
The Post-Control-Kommission regulates and supervises Austria's market for postal services.
The Telekom-Control-Kommission (TKK) regulates and supervises Austria's market for telecommunications services such as Internet and telephone services. It is also the supervisory body for trust services.
