Coverage railways

As part of the basic coverage obligations of the award of 700/1500/2100 MHz, the operators are obliged to provide railway coverage.

The relevant railway lines are defined in appendix J.8 of the frequency allocation (GIS geopackage):   

The coverage obligation only applies to those railway sections in which the obligated company is already operating mobile communications infrastructure as of December 31, 2019 or the respective railway infrastructure operator has made the locations necessary for coverage available at least six months in advance.
