2600 MHz unpaired Spectrum

The unpaired 2,6 GHz TDD-band (band n38) has a bandwith of 50 MHz.

The following figure shows the allocation starting with1 January 2027:

The upper and lower 5 MHz are assigned, but are guard blocks towards the neigbouring FDD usage.

EU-Decision on 2,6 GHz

The frequency-related technical conditions for the use of the 2.5-2.69 GHz frequency band have been defined in a Decision of the European Commission on June 13th, 2008. The Commission decision is based on "block edge masks", that is, masks for maximum e.i.r.p. within and outside of an assigned block are defined for a base station. The specific limits can be found in the annex to the Commission's decision.
