The Communications Survey Ordinance (KEV, BGBl II No. 365/2004) went into effect on October 10, 2004. One the basis of this ordinance, RTR is required to conduct statistical surveys in the field of communications on a quarterly basis and to publish the results of the accompanying analyses. The data collected is to be made available to the public in such a way that information on specific companies can not be deduced. The most recent data can be found in RTR's Telecom Monitor as well as from Q1 2012 at RTR's Open Data site.
