Selection of communities

The coverage obligation regarding cadastral communities must be fulfilled at specific dates. The operators had to select form a list of 2100 previously poorly covered cadastral communities (Annex J.1 of the frequency decision).

Obligation by operator

• Hutchison Drei Austria GmbH has to provide coverage in 738 cadastral communities since 2025-12-31.
• T-Mobile Austria GmbH has to provide coverage in 615 cadastral communities since 2025-12-31.
• A1 Telekom Austria GmbH has to provide coverage in 208 cadastral communities by 2024-12-14. By 2027-12-31 A1 Telekom Austria will have to provide coverage in 349 cadastral communities.

In Summe sind damit seit 31.12.2025 1561 Katastralgemeinden zu versorgen, ab 31.12.2027 sind 1702 Katastralgemeinden zu versorgen.
