Beginning of film shooting of "Ruf der Pferde" in Seefeld on Wednesday. The Austrian Television Fund (FERNSEHFONDS AUSTRIA) supports the production with EUR 320,000

On Wednesday, 10 October, the shooting of the television film “Ruf der Pferde” by Berge 7 Filmproduktion GmbH started in Seefeld, Tyrol.
“The Austrian Television Fund supports this “Heimatfilm” starring Hansi Hinterseer, whose popularity has transcended the Austrian borders, and Aglaia Szyszkowitz with the amount of EUR 320,000. This corresponds to 20% of overall production costs,” said Alfred Grinschgl, managing director of RTR’s Media Division and person in charge of allocating grants from the Austrian Television Fund. “On 10 out of 20 days, shooting will take place in Tyrol, so the entire German speaking audience will be able to get an impression of the beauty of Tyrol’s alpine world”, Mr Grinschgl continued.

A story of love and heartache in Tyrol

After his daughter dies in an accident, the formerly gifted horse whisperer Hansi loses his talent and secludes himself on his farm in the heart of Tyrol. His wife Anna accepts a job offer in Canada. His life in total seclusion changes only when he saves Jessy, a girl who fled from a children’s home threatened by close-down, from drowning in a torrent. Together with his wife Anna, who returns to Tyrol, Hansi fights against the close-down of the children’s home and supports Jessy, who has a natural talent for horses and who participates in a derby in Merano with an almost untamable horse.
The film will be broadcast by the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF), dk4 (Denmark) and Markiza TV (Slovakia).
